TODAY'S COMMAND TO OBEY:

Today, we're meditating on the command of Jesus in Matthew 4:19 & Luke 9:23-25, where Jesus commands us to "follow me." Today, we're continuing to meditate on that command, and the video above will help explain the Bible reading in Matthew 3-4. â€‹

Take the challenge - 8 minutes to obey the command of Jesus to "Follow me."

What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus?

"Discipleship is the process of becoming who Jesus would be, if he was you." - Dallas Willard

Discipleship means becoming a follower of Jesus -- which is learning about Jesus in order to imitate him. If you've just started following Jesus, or even if you've been around church a lot, you need to become a disciple of Jesus, not just a fan.

NewStart Discipleship is a program to help new Christians become disciples of Jesus -- to be transformed and grow in knowledge of the Bible, and Christlke.

You can also download the Obedience Challenge Workbook here.
