TODAY'S COMMAND TO OBEY:
Today, we're examining the command of Jesus in Matthew 5:38-42, where Jesus says this “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you."
Wow. What does this mean, and how can we obey? Watch the video above to learn how.
Check in with your mentor to help with your discipleship!
Reach out: Take 60 seconds & text or call your mentor about what you’re learning. Ask for prayer, share next actions, or share how Jesus is re-creating you in his image. If you don't have a mentor yet, get one! Think of a person who you highly respect for their walk with God, and ask them if they would be wiling to walk with your for the rest of this 90 days!

If you're an individual who just needs one copy of the Obedience Challenge Workbook:
"Discipleship is the process of becoming who Jesus would be, if he was you." - Dallas Willard
Discipleship means learning about Jesus in order to imitate and become like him. If you are a brand new Christian, or even if you've been around church a lot, you need to become a disciple of Jesus, not just a fan.
