TODAY'S COMMAND TO OBEY:

Today, we're looking at the command of Jesus in Matthew 6:1-4, where Jesus gives us this command: “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2 “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

How can a Christian truly keep this command? Watch the video from yesterday, where we discussed how to obey Jesus command to give secretly to learn how.

A secret to discipleship success is being mentored by an experienced Christian!

Reach out: The Bible tells us that we are to “encourage one another” – check in with your mentor and let them know if you’re down! That’s why God put you in a relationship like this. God’s a Trinity, he’s in eternal relationship, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And he wants you to be like Him – not alone, but in a Christian family relationship. ~Darrell
