TODAY'S COMMAND TO OBEY:

Today, we're looking at the command of Jesus in Matthew 7:1-5, where he says, “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."

What does this command of Jesus mean? How can a Christian obey? Watch the video above to learn how!

Make sure to check in with your mentor if you wish to grow spiritually as quickly as possible!

Reach out: Take 60 seconds & text your mentor about what you’re learning. Ask for prayer, share next actions, or share how Jesus is transforming you. It's a crucial spiritual growth practice, since discipleship is a team effort!

Free training helps churches to know how to disciple new Christians

how to disciple new believers free training

If you aren’t satisfied with how your church is currently making disciples, you’re not alone. Only 1% of pastors in a recent Barna Survey said “Today’s churches are doing very well at discipling new and young believers.” And only 8% of pastors (less than 1 in 10!) said THEIR church was doing “very well” at discipling new believers.

If you’re stuck in that spot, don’t stay stuck! NewStart Discipleship provides a clear discipleship pathway to help busy pastors develop the plans and clarity they need to help disciple new believers in any size church

NewStart features an introductory tool called the NewStart Discipleship Journal that is a habit-forming journal for brand new Christians. Then the Obedience Challenge is a great follow-up discipleship study, a 90 day Gospels Bible Reading plan that challenges brand new Christians to obey Jesus commands for 90 days.
